Gloria received her B.A. degree in Interpretative Speech with a minor in English from Bob Jones University in 1981. In addition to her theater training, she has also received six years of private voice lessons. While in college, Gloria participated in a variety of activities including Vespers Choir, opera and theater productions along with some solo work.

Gloria spent her first year out of college teaching kindergarten in a private school. While teaching, her other duties were coordinating the school’s special programs in music and drama and coaching students for a state-wide speech competition.

In 1985, Gloria became active in several community theater groups. She has played such famous roles as Golde in “Fiddler on the Roof,” Marian, the Librarian in “The Music Man,” Gwendolyn in “The Importance of Being Earnest,” and Nana in “The Velveteen Rabbit.”

Four almost four years, Gloria was the Executive Director of the Lincoln Arts Council, a non-profit organization. Her job encompassed a wide range of responsibilities which included budget preparation, grant writing, volunteer recruitment, and public relations.

Since 1989, Gloria has been a full time wife and mother. She schedules performances on a free lance basis to churches and schools.
